I was reading tikimiky's blog yesterday, then remember that i do own a blog too. I had totally lost the mood to blog during the pass one month holidays, guess i am just too lazy to start typing and uploading photos. Blogging really takes a lot of effort and time to maintain, especially those bloggers who update daily, wonder where did they get the time? Anyway, today i am in a good mood, so shall blog a bit.

Yesterday was out with sherwin and vin for some new year shopping, in which i find that there was nothing fantastic so far. Zara is having their sales so their store is in a total mess and full of oversized clothes. Topman is too "muddy" for me, then Esprit has not been catching my eye for the pass 1 year or so. But sherwin bought a t-shirt which looks cute,with a print of Popeye the sailor man. HAHA. i think it fits him quite well, especially when we are still young, we should wear this kind of tees while we can. Talking about age, it brings me back to the harsh reality that we will be 24 this year. This age is like the transition period from boy to man when we really need to start worrying about the many facts of life, like getting a job, career, car, house, marriage etc. Listing just the few above is already like weighing a ton on our shoulder, so much to think about. Life is no longer about coming home to doing homework, watching tv, playing computer......

guess this is what we call growing up.

So 2009 shall be the year to get started, get prepared for all that is to come.

What a race it was here in Singapore which just ended. I must really say the ferrari technician throw the game away for Massa who was leading all the way. But how ironic that the driver who clash out was from Renault team and the winner was Alonso from Renault too. Planned conspiracy or just a plain coincident? Well, my speculation would be that the crash was deliberate so that the safety car will come out and change the flow of play. haha. Maybe i am just too imaginative here. But i am admit it was a good race and job well done by the organiser. Didn't realize that the night scape of singapore could be so nice.

It has been so long since i last step into the kitchen. As today is a saturday and having the urge for some cooking fun, i don on the apron and headed for the kitchen. Today shall be my favourite spaghetti with pork cutlet. This dish is not only easy to cook, but also quite delicious. Luckily this time, there were no hiccup like last time when the stove died on me and i had to resort to using rice cooker. I took merely a hr to finish the whole dish.

Wonder what have i done over the pass few weeks? guess its this kind of self reflection that makes me start to wake up my slacking idea. Received the email for Industrial Attachment, but having mixed feeling about it. The idea of working in the real world excites me as i am curious to know where i actually stand in the place out there. But at the same time, i am perturbed about which company to choose. If only they choose us and shortlist us first, instead of we choosing them, that would be much better for me cause making decisions is not my forte. I tend to get indecisive when making big decisions like this. Perhaps i am more on the careful side, taking every move with caution. haha.

Over the past two weekend been meeting my 1st 3month JC class. Guess we are the most united 1st 3 month class la, meeting so frequently. haha. thanks to a passionate class rep. I think its important that within a group of friends, to have some chosen one who are more enthusiastic to pull everyone together. Perhaps that is what helps bond everyone together. So a big thanks to CY! haha.

Went to kelong with my frds over the last weekend. That place is located in malaysia, sibu and was a far ride from singapore.We took a solid two hours of bus journey plus half an hour of boat ride to reach there. It was a very good experience for city dwellers like us as we were able to experience life on the sea, without any computers or access to the world. I felt stranded on the place when i first reached there, mainly because there was nothing except the vast sea that surrounds the place. But as time passes, i begin to adapt and like the life there. The place was pretty rundown as expected, with the house being constructed from bamboos poles and covered by drystraws. Occasionally, u will be able to find holes on the floors as they are built on wooden planks which is uneven. Despite that, it was tough to survive the harsh weather conditions out in the sea.

For the meals there, it got to be seafood, seafood, and seafood!! The fish they serve there is simply FRESH!! As compared to what we eat at singapore, that was simply heaven. There were other dishes to go along with like chicken, duck.. but my personal favourite is the chilli sotong, which is chewy and tasty.

Finally is the friends company there that make the trip wonderful. For the laughter and the fun that we had, shall nvr be forgotten. lets look forward to the nxt overseas trip again.

Another start to a new school term. Thinking back, i had been so busy over this holiday, with eid n intersem taking over the majority of the time. Then last week went to work at the singapore garden festival and knew some new friends there. It was fun working with them as majority of them are only 19 yrs of age, making me feel young Although they keep calling me lao ren, i can only say that time has catch up with me as i was no longer the young boy of the past who was full of vigor and zest,so have to admit i am really old. Anyway took some pictures at the exhibition there, which i find that some were really nice~

It was a busy weekend this week. On Friday, met up with some JC friends for dinner and then went chilling out at Villa Bali, located near the old SAJC. It was a good chilling out spot as it is outdoor and surrounded by plants and trees, providing a good ambience that is close to nature which allows one to relax and destress. It was a good gathering after so long as we update one another on our life. Feel so much like going for overseas studies or attachment after hearing hao's HK studies. It is certainly a good exposure to the world out there.

Was at phuture last night to celebrate jac's birthday. Aa usual, it was hard getting tickets for phuture as the queue was long and there is a quota for the night. Luckily, i was the last few who manage to get in at 9 plus. Yeah. the crowd was good, and music only got better at 2 plus. Had a good time partying into the night, but guess i will cut down on clubbing this few weeks, as been frequently going there this few months. So, bye-bye to club for now.

Last week was the start of my intersemester module. I took understanding chinese cinemas for this term, as there were not much choices in the list. I can only say that arts electives are difficult. Why do i say this? This is because they place alot of emphasis on english which i am not really good in. Take this module for example, although the lectures are just watching movies and understanding some basic theory behind the films, the lecturer uses profound English and exams will be in essays format. Feel so much like dropping the module, but too late as add/drop has pass. So S/u is a definitely YES!!!

I could still remember clearly the week before when everyone in my group was losing hope on our product as we thought it was too simple and not innovate enough. But to everyone surprise, the judges like our idea and crown us first.Inadvertently, i must admit the media did play a role in the final outcome cause their interview has help us to gain certain points from the judges as they were impressed by the media coverage that we enjoy. EID week 4

It has been so many months since i last updated this blog. Let me count, almost half a year since my last post. Apart from being busy, i guess its the interest that was lost that prevented me from updating. So what makes me to write this now, today, at this moment? I have no idea too. Inspiration?

Anyway, i am now into my last week of the EID project and i am so glad it will soon be over. Seriously, this few weeks has been more tedious than normal school terms, with all the lessons in the first two week and discussion in the pass two weeks. However, there are a few lessons that i had learn over this period of four weeks, some good experiences, and some bad ones. As people say, "life cannot be be smooth sailing all the way." i guess this is really the fact of life, sadly but true. Only after this, will people grow and mature. I must say i had indeed progress towards maturity more after this project, not only in listening to people ideas, but more of working with people.

Finally finish watching the korean drama, Witch Yoo Hee online.. this is the drama that is shown on channel U now.. haha.. interesting show which depicts a fierce woman (Yoo Hee) who is hard up for love and eventually ends up falling in love with her love tutor aka housekeeper... I personally dun prefer watching korean drama though, as they are mostly slow and draggy, but this one manage to change that, with abit of twist and turn in the plot.. in the end, it was a happy conclusion to the story... =D

Not all girls look good with long hair... Yoo Hee is the type which is more suitable for short hair laa.....

today went to SNEC for the check-up... that place was so small compared to the main branch at SGh.. luckily the waiting time was not long and i got to see the doctor after a short while.. after checking, the doctor say my eyes could be due to allergy or drying caused by contact lenses... so this means i need to refrain from wearing lenses in future le.. this is definitely BAD news la!!! this time really need to wear back my spec le, much to the delight of my mum, who is a firm opposition party for lenses... but then a lucky thought has to be that my eye was not damaged.. whew... i was so perturbed that i might go blind as i was seeing patches after looking at computer for a long time... its seems scary to be unable to see your loved ones, your surrounding and become a burden to them, not to mention the future that lies ahead...

Its the December holiday now... with the exams just over, i can finally take a break again... last semester exams were the worse i ever had, especially my thermo paper, where i felt totally lost and helpless during the 2 and 1/2 hr .. think i was demoralized by the first question and lost the direction and mood for the rest of the paper.. Hope that i will be able to survive this... For the rest of the papers, it was still manageable, so lucky there is something to fall back on.. after this semester, i am beginning to have doubt over choosing the design stream,as competition was much stiffer over there and i guess i really need to start working hard if i want to have any chance of catching up... my first class honor seem to be getting further away from me.. argh...

i been having eye problem for the past week, think its due to my contact lenses... my eyes felt so itchy and dry, with bit of redness and worse still, my eye will get irritated when watching tv or computer...whats wrong with my eyes??
Today i manage to get a referal letter to go Singapore national eye centre(SNEC)on this thursday to have my eye check.. Cant believe it when the nurse told me that if i go to the SNEC at SGH, i have to wait till FEb, think my eye will become blind by then bah... so i chose the balestier branch instead... Hope i can get a answer this thurs.. in the meantime, its time to say bye bye to lenses and become good frds with my spectacles again... sighz... =(

today is the deadline for my art assignment.. even though it should be joyous that i manage to finish in time, i went to school with the feeling of uncertainty, cause i feel unsure of the standard of my work in comparison with the rest... taking the bus to sch with the model will be suicidal as the thought of squeezing on bus 179 is simply unimaginable...and so i took a cab to school, hoping to preserve my art in the best condition...surprisingly i was the earliest there.. haha.. and so i waited as the people started coming in one by one with their masterpiece in hand.. i was like WTF!!! got one was really damn siao one, using acrylic as the artifact and even drilling holes on it... so not recyclable la, as we were advised to use recycle material and not to spend too much money on it.. as usual there were good and bad ones around, which i think mine should be just average... but still i am still proud of my work as after all it was hard work and effort put in by me... just hope that there wont be any more of this assignment le, cause it is really too time consuming le... school getting busier day after day.. CA, projects, presentation all coming up!!! |||

Finally today marks the end of week two, with all the tutorial starting this week, it was back to studying mood again. It has been pretty hard to force myself to sit on the study desk for more than a hour as i would be either walking to the living room to watch tv or be online chatting with my friends. This semester will be busy, with 22 AU to clear, time just seems to pass a lot more faster, with back to back lectures and tutorials on my timetable. So everyday, i would be reaching home at 7 or 8 plus, with little time and energy to do any wrk, guess this is the price to pay for planning a four day week bah.

Just reach home after watching the "secret", latest movie by jay chow... it got to be one of the best asian films in the past few years after infernal affairs bah...the plot started of by bringing the audience back to the good old days, intriguing sweet memories of love life in school... but it all took a twist when jay realise the truth about xiao yu... from a crowd with laughter, it changes to a solemn mood as everyone was amazed by how the story has changed into one of those fantasy movies...really caught me unaware too as i thought it got to be another normal love story with them breaking up or wat... also, one thing i observed is that jay seems to be acting himself in the show, so its not actually acting for his part la.. haha...maybe jay can improve on that so as to get into the running for the best male lead in the next golden horse award... overall, i am pretty impressed by the whole plot...

i think it should be the latter bah, as i was flipping through some of the notes for the semester, i realise that i am in for a busy period.. all the words seem so foreign to me again... feel so much like the time when i just left army, a empty brain to begin with..

been home the whole of sunday, watching dramas, shows etc...recently,i have been watching some of "xing guang bang" performance...they are totally awesome la.. my personal favourite will have to be yang zhong wei.. he has a really captivating voice that can melt any people... thumbs up!!!

today i regain my freedom, but only for a week before sch reopens again on 6 Aug... yesterday was my last day of work at aussino.. finally i am leaving the place..not that i hated the place but its just that facing unreasonable customers often pisses mi off... i mus say that my colleagues there are quite nice to work with, despite some gossip and backstabbing among them.. guess this is the normal office politics lol... they treated me real nice, maybe because i am the youngest there bah..so i am always called "ah boy" which make mi feel real young la.. haha... thanks for the farewell treat from u all... =)

doing sales let u meet different people from all walks of life.. thinking back, it has been a good experience to encounter them everyday as it sharpens your sense of handling different situations..
today i met 2 mediacorp artiste who happens to patronise the shop.. the first one was a channel 5 male host, whom i did not know his name... he was very polite, greeting all the staff with smiles and putting no air at all.. he was at the shop doing some last minute shopping for present.. haha.. in the end he settled for towels and blanket as gifts... so even artistes are pretty clueless when it comes to giving presents...
the second one was cassandra xue su shan.. fyi, she has quitted acting and now owns two shops in parkway parade & if u think that she is china, u r wrong lol.. she speaks absolutely perfect english!!! amazed right?? haha..

so who will i meet in the future??

So what am i doing this weekend? needless to say, i am tied down by work again... oh gosh, it really sucks to be working on a weekend.. today met a few "weird" customers.. the most 'memorable' would have to be the old Indian auntie... she was a regular in the shop.. being notorious for her fussiness, she was shunned away by all my colleagues... and so, today i was the unlucky one, being forced to help her...as her legs just underwent operations, she said she had to sit down first..and so she just sat there like dua peh gong and expect me to show her the products she wants... i was patient with her at the beginning, explaining to her in a nice tone, but when she enquires about discount for it, that's what really makes my blood boil... that is because she insists that she was a regular of the shop and expects to get more discount.. but according to the policy, all members are entitled to only 15% discount, no more than that.. and so when i said no to her request, she said that i duno anything and ask me to get my supervisor to come... but as expected, her request was refuted.. unable to get more discount, she only bought one set of fitted sheet.. however,the story does not end here.. just as she was about to leave, she asked me to help bring the fitted sheet down to the taxi stand.. hello!! how heavy is that lol?? but being in the service sector, its always a yes for a answer... i feel so much like her slave la, being boss around.. really hate that kind of feeling.. but i shall ren for another few weeks as school is going to reopen soon in Aug..

however my day was not all about evil people.. i also met a cute xmm (xiao mei mei).. do not be mistaken, this xmm that i am referring to is only 5 years old.. she is so ke ai la...the xmm was left in the shop under my care as her mum went to put the stuff in her car.. so in the meantime, i have to stand in as her nanny, and keep her entertain la.. luckily she was very obedient, just sat there and not giving me any trouble...

It was saturday night fever at Dbl O... rush over after wrk to meet the guys, thinking that i would be the last to reach, but instead i was the first lol... haha... its better to be early than late... to be exact, think it was my first time there, despite being invited by frds numerous times to go... the crowd was quite healthy, comprising of youngsters and some middle aged grp...but then the music was kind of not to my liking as it was retro night, with songs that i have never heard of... haha... but then it was still enjoyable with the company of my gang, drinking and chatting...

i was feeling a bit disturbed for the past few days... think that is the emo side of me... i am the kind who is more sensitive and think more than others, even though i dun show it...

So am i expecting too much from something that seems so unreal, something that nvr realli existed?

today was another routine day at wrk, life there is getting more and more boring le... sianz... went to paragon office to collect stuff and met jj for a short lunch break..he was lookin so red after his tann session..haha.. the morale of his story is nvr to fall asleep during tanning cause it really turns you into a overcooked red hermit crab..talking about the sun, it has been a long time since i did some outdoor activities le.. haha... such an unhealthy life i am leading now... need to buck up my fitness!!!

yesterday was out with the gess boys to celebrate gk birthday.. it was kinda of hard to get everyone out as all are busy now, some with camp to run, some got gf to pei while some need to work n book in... so we had to meet 10pm at night for supper..i still prefer going chinatown la, to have my favourite porridge.. instead we had the steamboat at bugis for supper.. its doesn't sounds right hoh, having such a heavy supper.. everyone was so full after that la... then we went to catch a movie, one that i wanted to watch, the fantastic four.. haha... it was kinda of short, lasting only one and half hour.. the story was very close-packed, as the plot just flows through very fast..squite worth the ticket price if you are a addict of marvel heroes.. shall not say much as vinz gona say i sounded like a movie critic again.. haha... after that we hang around for a chat before gng hm...

i met gk n jh for dinner at a small restaurant along bugis street.. the place is not very wulu, situated in the middle of parco bugis junction and city hall mrt, within walkable distance from the two... its hard to believe that the place was fully reserved when we arrived at 6.. but luckily the manager was kind enough to give us a table for a hr .. i must say that the food is not really fantastic, but price is still quite reasonable as there is no service charged, all nett prices... after that we went to walk ard before deciding to get ourselves some alcohol at the nearby 7-11.. just as i was paying for the drinks, the ah neh cashier asked for my IC la.. do i look like a underaged kid lol??? so i took out my IC and in a very 'xia lan' manner, flash it in front of her... and the most amazing thing is that she say i look the youngest among the three of us... damn, issnt it obvious that gk gt a much more 'babier' face than me ? so wonder if i shld be happy or sad ...

today is the official day that results are out.. thks to reliable info from my frd, i was told that it was released at past midnight.. even though my gpa dropped, i was more than happy to accept it, as i tink i was not as hardwrkin as the first sem, and falling sick during the exams was really torturing as it is so hard to concentrate.. so i must really admit that the results turn out to be much better than i expected... =D

Went to have hair cut again lol... so the stylist was wrong, it has been only 4 weeks or so from the last session..today sean was nt ard, and so adeline stand in for him... she is so talkative, talk non stop de... haha... n so she suggested a change and wala, within hrs, my hair was cut and colored... i was pretty apprehensive at first, as she nvr cut for me before, but then it turns out pretty fine.. hee... of cos i was not alone today, as i got the company of my two gay buddies... thks ah bros for saboin me over there... haha...it was quite paiseh la, when u two told adeline i wanted J to wash my hair for me..but lucky she is frdly so still gt joke ard with me while washing...but again i must admit she looks sweet la... so maybe nxt time we go, we can act as se pek pek and request for her to help us wash hair.. haha... but i noe u two wont de, cause u two wont b so FJ de rite?? anyway hope to meet up with u all again b4 iggy flies off to taiwan... its back to wrk again tmr... sianz... =(

today is my off-day, so happy and glad that i can finally go out with my frds again.. last night went to meet vinz, iggy, collin for supper after work.. it was an all guys outing with iggy being our driver of the night... feels great to be eating with friends as i have been like eating alone for the past weeks at wrk, since promoter take turns to go eat, so kelian lol..so we went to newton, changi village to makan... yummy... has been so long since i went out for supper le, kinda miss this kind of session...haha... reach home at ard 3 and slept till 9am...
so woke up and off to meet the grp again to go gai gai as planned during the supper session... we went to a zara sale near raffles hotel,was kinda of disappointing.. all the clothes looks so old and ah pek..haha.. so not our style lol... diaoz... then we went to pc fair before iggy n i went to meet guannie for dinner...

Today i must have gotten off from the wrong side of the bed, early in the morning was being accused of something that i did not know.. yuan wang la... i woke up in the morning and called a 40 yr old uncle who is the operation manager for the company i am working in now, just to confirm where do i report for wrk today... and so i called him, only to hear him saying;"hey where are u ah??" hmm... upon hearin this, i sense something wrong and then he followed to claim that he told me to report to bishan at 830am...i took a look at the watch and that time then was 9am le la.. so i had to rush down to wrk and be ready to get suan by him there...
So i reached and confronted him regardin the matter, in which i rmb clearly he did nt brief me about a single thing, n thats the reason y i called... but he stood firm and insisted he told me... damn...but i was too tired to argue with him and jus replied, mayb bah... so i thought not so bad la, only let him nag abit, at least not scold... but then the matter did not stop there...
after he left, i had casual talk with the other temp staffs there, only to hear something unpleasant.. i heard from them that teh manager was very angry with me and talk bad about me after he hung my call.. saying " da xue shen also duno how to manage time, can b late also ..." such a two face guy la, acting to be courteous in front of me, and talkin behind my back.. today is my first day at work as a promoter.. its a damn bo hua and bu tao hao the job as the pay is low, and have to work on weekends..if that is not bad enough,life gets even harder when u are dealing with mostly aunties and uncles, who are sometimes so unreasonable.. today i met a eng- speaking asshole who came in with his whole family.. he was damn arrogant la!!he was walking around the whole shop and messing up everything on display... cannot stand it... so what if u are rich lol, ke wu.. so i happen to stand near him when he came over and asked, "why are the doors of the shop always open??" diaoz... isnt it obvious? so that people can patronise the shop w/o using force to push the glass door open.. and i told him that, only to see him laughing out loud... crazy ass... and i just stared at him until he walks away...my day was so spoilt by him la... hope there wont be a second him popping by in the future... anyway it was quite a experience having to endure unreasonable customers, as i had nvr done sales before... now then i noe somesingaporeans are so hard to please...Nevertheless, there are still some good mannered customers that are so much fun to work with...i shall go rest le.. long day tmr again...

a few days ago, i got news of my uncle being admitted to hospital... it came as a shock as he was in good health since the last time i saw him during CNY... but lucky it wasnt very serious, as it was due to something growing on his intestine which just needed a operation to remove... this often happens, when people get old, all the problems start to arise.. even when you are in the pink of health, after going for blood test, medical report etc, you wld be surprised to realise something wrong with the body... this is wat happen to my uncle... really hope his operation tmr will b a success, may god bless...

Today i woke up late, cos i was so tired and sleepy as last night i came home at around 2 after meeting up with my sec sch frds... as promised i shall cook today for my mum... i shall cook spaghetti for her since it is one of my speciality and its simple to prepare... whee... been so long since i entered that kitchen so i was rather unverse in where the things were put n etc.. unfortunately, it was not all smooth sailing as the cooking gas dies out on me, so i had to resort to using rice cooker to cook... didnt know that it work just as well, thought it took me almost an hr to transfer and make changes... but still, it was ready by 1pm.. haha... glad that it tastes ok..

Last night went to have dinner and movie with my sec sch frds... the movie was a midnight sneak preview, and it gotto be the lamest movie i ever watched.. haha.. the show was "blades of glory"... if there is a wrd to describe it, that has got to be LAME!!! haha.. it was very funny... although it is a merely 1 hr 25 mins show, u can be assured of laughing through out the whole movie... the story was about two skaters turning from foe to friends and how they prepare for the competition... do watch out for their eccentric and hilarious dance moves... its so f***ing gay la... definitely worth a watch if u want to have a good laugh... =D

i was home for the whole day... too tired and lazy to go out, so might as well stay at home and watch dramas, play games... jus finished watching the "200 pounds beauty" online two days ago, what a nice movie it turns out to be..ss is right lol, tats why i dun call her movie critic for nth de...towards the end, it was so gan ren la, it really moves me but i nvr CRIED hor..haha... an additional bonus to this movie wld have to be its songs inside.. the song "maria" in the movie is so power la..haha...like it very much.. THks gk bro for sending me the ost... thks thks thks alot...

today is saturday le.. but weekend doesnt seem to mean anything special to me le, cos everyday is just like another saturday or sunday..so maybe i shld just stay at home and keep my mum company since mother's day is just ard the corner...be a mummy's boy for this weekend.. =D

my new hair cut

i had my routine monthly hair cut as usual yesterday...but instead of looking for my former stylist paul this time, i decided to have a change.. so instead i found myself at heatwave, a sub-branch of monsoon... haha... not tat i love to have my hair cut monthly, but its just that my hair grow too fast le... wonder if there is anything that can prevent the hair from growing so fast?? so i was at the salon wif vin n iggy, wondering if the stylist there were good since it was our first visit there... for me personally, i feel tat a good stylist mus have 3 conditions... (based on personal opinion)
1) mus b a guy (cos he will noe wat a guy wants)
2) he mus hav a good sense of fashion (from the way he dress)
3) he mus b sissy (to show that he is xi4 xing1 like a girl)
and so a guy in his 20s approach us and ask what we wan to do with our hair... a quick scan through n i noe he fulfils the top two conditions... as for sissy, i shall reserve my comments..haha...during the session, we converse and only then did i found out tat his shi fu was some famous guy from Hong Kong who help sandy lam style her hair...hha.. wonder if he was telling the truth lol... anyway i quite like the way he cuts and talks and most importantly, he guarantees me one thing, that my hair will last me for another 7 weeks b4 it gets too long... haha... for that we shall see cos after the cut, i feel tat got cut like no cut liddat...so we shall see in another 7 weeks time... =D

yesterday went to watch spiderman 3 at cineleisure wif frds...but didnt manage to get the best seats cos all the slots were quite fully booked, only left the front few rows..so just have to make do with it lol... anyway, if watchin at cathay, do use uob card to pay cause there is a 12% discount for it, regardless weekend or weekdays... haha.. so to the movie, i must say it was not as good as expected as people always say teh sequeal would not be as nice as the first... however, it was quite refreshing to see the evil side of parker esp his dance moves... was so funny la... beside that, there were a few funny scenes that is sure to laugh ur head off... so i wld still give it a 4 out of 5, since i am a spidey fan... haha...

Been having so much fun after the holidays... haha... over the past few days, i have been catching up with my past routine: watching movies, playing basketball, slacking in cafe, n most importantly EATING... hee.. life feels so good when our minds are free from the worries... Today i was out wif gk the whole day.. has been so long since we went out le lol.. we walk through the whole of orchard rd looking for something to buy and in the end, we bought a jeans and shirt from topman...so long since i buy clothes le lol, think got almost 2 months le.. actualli today also wanted to watch spiderman 3, but all the slots are full, so disappointed sia... and to think even the most wulu place like tiong bahru plaza was fully booked, this goes to show how much pple like spiderman..

today went to school for my last paper, n finally all the papers are over...yeah!!! had been so busy for the past two weeks.. sianz... i am a super mugger!!! haha... this exam period was super tedious, had to rush through all the notes and the worst part was to fall sick.. imagine having sore eye + fever + cough + flu ---> living hell... super unlucky lol... kaoz...but glad its all over...haha..

last saturday went out with my jc frds to k-box at marina.. it has been almost a few months since i went singing le la, so was quite looking forward to it...its nice to meet up with them even though everyone is busy with own work and studies.. didnt noe tat they can get so high de la, think the sofa almost spoilt with all of us standing on top..after tat went to eat dinner with them before i went to meet up my brothers at city hall mrt.. haha.. surprisingly jh brought his gf, think this shld be the first time he formally brought her out to show us lol.. hey jh bro tink u should just listen to your heart and follow it, cause life is short and being happy is the most important bah..

What a night it turn out to be, never thought that singapore do have so many singing talents around... haha... i happen to have tixs for the concert at the indoor stadium yesterday, so went for it.. to my delight, i was shocked to hear some great singing from the two project superstar final contestant, daren and diya...they each simply got a great voice as they shook the whole stadium with their vocal and charm..among the two, i personal do like daren more, maybe because his voice resembles bit of jay chow.. and as the results turn out, he won...haha.. i just got the feeling that after this, people are sure to compare him with chen weilian, to see who is better & needless to say, i tink most prob pple would choose daren as he is certainly more all rounded than wei lian.. but being fair to weilian, he does have a touching voice, one that could melt any heart...as for that night, really enjoyed the performance, cheers to the two finalist, u two rox...

it has been so long since my last entry le,think its getting dusty around here..haha... has been a lifeless semester for me, been spending much of time in school and on studies... wanted so much to go to the beach and just sit down, watch the sunset and enjoy the gentle breeze brushing across...if only life can be so beautiful and carefree everyday,just like what we have in our dreams...time passes so fast,as week 5 would be comin up le...counting down the weeks, its just like only 9 more weeks to the final exam.. oh gosh.. but on the bright side, holiday would be just around the corner again...as what i told joy, mayb positive thinking does help to make people feel better and happier at least its having the effects on me...meantime i shall await eagerly for the next public holiday, and its CHINESE NEW YEAR...

i went to sch today as usual for lectures..went to LT1A for life science lect... i must say the indian lecturer is super boring lol.. all of us dun understand wat he is talking about as he is like the jay chow from india, hard to make out what he is saying... think just got to read up more info on ourselves...anyway, was still feeling elated as weekend is just around the corner and better still i hav no lessons tmr... haha..after school went to vivocity for some shopping with my frd.. at there, saw the majestic ship from sweden... looking at it from the side, it does reminds me of the pirates of caribbean... nice.. took some snap shots, but as it was too big, so it was rather hard to take the picture of the whole ship...had dinner with vc before making my way back home...

after weeks of break from the routine uni life, its back to sch tmr for me and many of my fellow uni mates... tis means i have to wake up early for sch, board the ever-packed bus 179, attend boring letures and suffer the haunt of CA and exam... guess i just have to live this life for the next 3-1/2 yrs...but luckily this sem, wif luck on my side, i hav gotten myself a much relax and better timetable as its going to be a four day week for me..yeah...relishing the thought of a long weekend has been the main driving force that motivates me for the next sem...haha...motivation is good, and hopefully it lasts long, long enough to tide me thru the nxt sem.. i shall focus on my studies, and focus i will be...

KL trip

finally back from KL last night, glad to be back home... tis trip was a short one, spending only 3 days there...unlike johor where there were floods, KL was sunny all the way, so not much affected..we spend almost all the time eating and shopping... all i can say is that, the food there is nicer and cheaper compared to here...jus simply love travelling, hope can go more often if time allows, to see more things...apart from all the shopping n eating, i gain sth more valuable, that is to cherish wat i hav now...cos while we were on the coach back, we bypass some low grd areas near johor,n saw the seriousness of the flood as mosques, houses, trees were partially submerged in the water..the sight of this is certainly pitiful...to us, the thought of rain wld be the hussle of bringing an unbrella, but to them, it carries a totally different meaning..certainly, tis just serves to reinforce how fortunate it is to be living here and makes me value life more...today is christmas eve, and i wish that god will help out those who are in need, wherever they are and help them to tide thru their dire state...merry christmas to one and all...

today met my frds for steamboat at igna place, from the preparation to washing up, it was simply fun, fun and more fun.. haha...went to supermarket to get all the food ready, then proceeded to his place to cut n wash all the ingredients... it was getting clumsy n messy as we rarely do all this at home...thou tiring, it was really enjoyable...realli appreciate igna n family for lending us their place...thanks lots...glad to hav so much fun wif u guys..mayb a bbq nxt time?

went for my cousin wedding yesterday.. time passes so fast as now she is geting married le..still remember those childhood times when i would go to her house to play and receive tution from her mum(my aunt)... to see her getting her married to a good man, we were so happy for her... i helped out at the reception and acted as the 3rd photographer..it was fun going ard snapping shots of the jovial event.. hee..looking forward to the next wedding as it may jus be my sis turn..haha..

Woke up early in the morning to meet my frds for bball... the sun was scorching hot, simply a great day to tan n play.. looking at jq's body, we decided to take off our shirt to play.. cos we definity dun wan to have the 'beautiful' tan line as him...haha... was super fun but also tiring.. then we went home to took a shower before meeting up for sushi buffet at sakae...yummy... i just love eating sushi... wat a coincidence, we manage to saw 3 project superstar finalist over there...haha... but they look rather 'dao' especially the girl with a mole(dunno wats her name).... i guess its hard being a public figure with all eyes looking at you bah... jus wonder what it feels like... hee... after we had our fill, went to shop before proceedin home... gona nid a good rest tonight, tmr will b another busy day for mi cos its my cousin wedding...
